As Content Manager at Jetstar Airways, I was responsible for the creation of content across the entire Asia-Pacific region. Delivering content strategy with a data-driven ‘customer-first‘ approach, I introduced content hubs for inspirational destination content and post-booking customer care.
These two projects alone increased site engagement, improved customer approval rankings (Net Promotor Score), and helped reduce common issues and calls to customer support.

About me
I am a freelance writer and content specialist with deep expertise in travel and hospitality, events, music, and arts. My work has been published in travel magazines and websites, and my content writing is seen on airline and tourism webpages.
A passionate life-long traveller, I have a deep understanding of the travel and tourism industry from both a business and a customer perspective.
The content I write is infused with practical insights and strategic thinking honed over 20+ years of experience. I’ve worked with some of Australia’s biggest travel brands – including Jetstar and Qantas – and for digital agencies around the world, specialising in content, SEO, UX/CX, copywriting and digital marketing.
I work with clients across Europe and throughout the world, from Melbourne to London to New York, and everywhere in between.

PROCESS
If you work with freelancers regularly, you will no doubt be familiar with the delivery process and have your own internal procedures in place. While it can vary a little depending on the project, work usually follows these key stages.
1. Discovery & Brief
An initial ‘discovery call’ to understand your business, goals, and audience. If you already have a brief, this is a very quick chat. If not, we’ll discuss your needs and develop a content brief so we are aligned on scope, tone, style, and objectives. This brief will be used to form our agreement on requirements, deliverables, timelines and rates.
2. Research & Writing
Once we have an agreed brief, I begin any research, interviews and information gathering before developing your required content.
3. Revisions & Finalisation
After completing the first draft, I will share it for your feedback. I typically include up to two rounds of revisions to ensure the content meets your needs before finalising it for distribution.
4. Measurement & Optimisation
If we work together regularly, we’ll discuss how to track content performance so we can leverage data-driven insights to refine the approach and optimise future content for maximum impact.
